Your Voice Matters! Help Us Develop a Comprehensive Plan for Our Community

St. James Parish is facilitating a crucial update to our Comprehensive Plan, and we need your input to ensure it reflects the needs and aspirations of all residents. This plan will guide the long-term development of our community, impacting everything from land use and infrastructure to public services and environmental protection.

We invite you to participate in an online community survey designed to gather your insights and opinions. Your feedback will play a critical role in shaping the policies and projects that will affect our Parish for years to come.

Upcoming Community Meetings

In October 2025, St. James Parish is hosting two Community Open House-style meetings as part of updating of its Comprehensive Plan. This Plan guides future growth and development decisions in the Parish for the next 20 years.  

The focus of the two community meetings is to both provide information and request feedback related to the community assessment (data collection to date), draft goals and objectives, and project needs Parish-wide. 

Both Open House meetings will cover the same information and activities. Participants can stop by at any time between 6:00 and 8:00pm for at your own pace activities and discussion with the Project Team. Food and soft drinks will be provided. We look forward to hearing your perspectives!
